since fracture is transverse so plating is better option,go with posterior approach

Either of plate or nail. If plate then u can go for anterolateral as well.

U can try conservative by u cast for 3-4weeks then functional cast bress . If u want to operate do plating.it is still the gold standard.go through ant -lat approach
